The Jaguar Drivers Club Inc was founded in 1958 and was a National Club. After a time it became apparent there was a need for locally based clubs. An Auckland branch was formed in 1969 and
officially became the Jaguar Drivers' Club (Auckland) Inc. in 1972. Our club is very active, with events held every month and a monthly evening get
together.
Club Patrons: Lofty England managed Jaguar's competition department in the 50's and was our patron from 1989 till his death in 1995 . Our club is very lucky now to have two
Patrons, Tom Walkinshaw (TWR) and Norman Dewis (test driver for Jaguar from 1952 -1984).
The club produces a monthly magazine for members with articles of interest to the Jaguar enthusiast, coming events and a for sale page for members (there is a small charge to non members
to advertise). Our club offers members advice, support and technical help. Specialised tools are available, and there is a book & video library free to members. We also have Jaguar and
club regalia for sale.
